This gives the child a feeling of security that breeds a feeling of trust. The child with a strong feeling of security will be able to interact and learn more with others and from others. This makes home parenting a very good option for many instead of sending them to nursery or third party to care for them. .

The best part about home parenting is that the mother can set her own schedule and interact often with her child. She is able to do fun things with her kids. This builds a beautiful lasting memory that the children will have of their childhood; whether it is going to the zoo or going to the library or staying in the backyard, working in the garden or picking apples at the local orchard. Many mothers felt that by staying at home their kids were benefiting and developing faster. The benefits to the mother come by the reassurance that comes with knowing the child receives all the attention and love needed. Sharing every minute of every day with the child was extremely important to the mother. The thrill and satisfaction the mother feels for being able to nurse the child through every illness and to breastfeed him/her for as long as required without pressure from anyone is a feeling unparalleled by any other.

Monica, a stay at home mother stated I am not rushed all the time and I am not tired all the time from working. I can give her the time she deserves instead of cramming in time here and there. Children are an investment. It is up to the individual as to what they want to do with their children. We only have them for a short while. It is worth the extra work. I am now more tired staying home because the job is 24 hours instead 10 but it is really worth it.
